Mana Ahmady
Registered Veterinary Technician
I'm Mana, a passionate Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) at Fredericton Animal Hospital.
My journey into the world of veterinary medicine took an unexpected turn during the Covid lockdown in 2020. While working from home as an engineer, I found myself cherishing moments cuddling with my beloved cat, Thea, who would often grace me with her [uninvited] presence. Soon after, my husband and I joyfully welcomed Rom, a lovable Bernese Mountain Dog fluff ball, into our home. As I devoted more time to caring for and loving Thea and Rom, I felt an undeniable pull to pursue a new chapter in my career.
In November 2022, I graduated from Oulton College, and a couple of months later, I proudly passed the national board exam, officially becoming an RVT. Embracing every challenge with enthusiasm, I am thrilled to be a part of the remarkable team at FAH, where I learn and grow each day. My passion lies in the fields of surgery and emergency medicine, and I find immense satisfaction in helping our patients overcome chronic issues and maintain a healthy lifestyle through personalized nutrition plans. My perfect day includes curling up in a cozy corner of my home with a cup of homemade latte, cuddling with Rom and Thea, and hiking to discover new dog-friendly spots in our city.
