Accreditations

American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA)

We have been accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association after a rigorous review of our patient care, practice protocols, medical equipment, facility and client service. Only 7% of veterinary hospitals have been accredited by AAHA in Canada, and only 15% in the U.S. Choosing an AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital for your pet’s medical care ensures that the hospital you have selected has the facilities, equipment, staff and medical protocols that AAHA believes are important for the delivery of high-quality care.

American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP)

FAH has been designated a “Cat-Friendly Practice” by The American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP)

We incorporate cat-friendly features including feline-sensitive exam rooms (no dogs allowed!) ward facilities, and equipment appropriate for cats.

Our staff is trained to understand the needs of cats such as how to interpret a cat’s facial expression and body language and how to calm an anxious cat to ensure that exams and procedures do not escalate anxiety.
