We provide after-hours emergency services for our regular clients.
If you are the client of another hospital, please call your veterinarian directly. If you do not have a veterinarian, please call the 24-hour emergency hospital in Moncton at (506) 387-4015.
We have partnered with GuardianVets to provide after-hours emergency consultations from highly experienced emergency veterinary technicians.
If you are a current client and it is an emergency, telephone us at (506) 455-1700 and press 0 to be connected to a licensed veterinary technician at GuardianVets who will review your pet’s condition.
If the GuardianVets technician suggests you see a vet immediately, they will connect you with the on-call veterinarian at Fredericton Animal Hospital.
If your pet needs to be seen at the hospital, there is a $235 emergency exam fee for registered clients, in addition to all other costs of the visit.
If the issue is not an emergency, GuardianVets will help you request an appointment for the next business day and avoid an unnecessary late-night trip to the hospital.
If you suspect that your pet has eaten something potentially hazardous, we encourage you to call the Pet Poison Hotline at 1-855-764-7661 immediately as they are best equipped to deal with these cases. They are available 24/7 and are staffed by experienced veterinary technicians and veterinarians.
You will be given a specific course of treatment that you can complete at home to stabilize your pet. Pet Poison Hotline charges a fee for this service (approximately $80).
