From a very young age, Kim knew she wanted a career focused on improving the wellbeing of animals. She went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Biology with a concentration in Wildlife Rehabilitation from Lees-McRae College. After graduating, she began her journey in veterinary medicine as a veterinary assistant in small animal hospitals across North Carolina.
In 2021, she moved to Canada with her fiancé, where her passion for animal care shifted to a focus on nutrition while working at a local pet store. Now a veterinary assistant, she finds the most fulfillment in working as part of a dedicated and compassionate team.
Outside of work, Kim enjoys hiking, snorkeling, and expressing her creativity through pottery and photography—often featuring her two beloved cats, Albus and Pippin, as her muses.
