I have always loved animals and am a lifelong learner. The veterinary field was the perfect fit for me to foster my love of both! The opportunity to learn about various aspects of health and wellness within different species of animals has been fascinating and I am constantly looking to understand these things on a deeper level.
I attended the University of New Brunswick and obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2016. I am very interested in behaviour in both humans and animals. I admire our team for being able to give animals a voice and understand the health issues that can lead animals to behave in a particular way.
What I love most about my job is being able to connect with pets and their families every day (especially those happy puppy and kitten visits). I'm grateful to work with such an incredible group of people, every day I am blown away by their kindness, strength, and intelligence.
A fun fact about myself is that I have a rather large Funko Pop collection filled with characters from my favorite movies, television shows and video games. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, knitting, cooking and playing video games in my free time. I have 2 cats, both rescues, named Tom and Dale who I love dearly.
